Platonic Dress

Plato explains that the world we live in and the environment surrounding us are made of smaller particles, or modules, (platonic solids) which vary in form and scale depending on the elements they constitute. Using platonic solids’ nets as a reference, patches are made using zero-waste pattern cutting. By folding and combining, these patches challenge traditional patchwork, a 2D surface, to become a 3D structure. Thus, the wearer has the opportunity to sculpt his/her own silhouette.

Bubble Wrap Jacket

The Bubble wrap jacket is a metaphorical representation of oneself at a time that we have all been threw at a certain point in life. A time when we tried to spare what left of oneself from the harm of our own thoughts by picking up every shiny moment left and that we can think of. The jacket is made of zero-waste pattern cutting bubble wrap and embroidered with sequence made of left over isolation sheets.
