This painting is a part of a series that i have been working on for 4 years. The series depicts stages of abuse, mental, physical and many more forms. In each painting as a viewer you can decipher the messages hidden in the art, each individual might find a piece to relate to, knowing that every human being has been touched by abuse in one form or the other. So the story of layla is a painting related to social workers abuse, to every woman in an abused household. Layla is trying to tell her story through her tears, her words and her actions.
