L’arbre est au centre de cette série comme un personnage principal qui joue son propre rôle. Parfois centenaire, il est au cœur de nos cités le témoin et souvent la victime d’un urbanisme en expansion. Avec lui on interroge la place de la nature dans la ville.
Les racines, nos racines, éclairent l’histoire de nos villes. Elles sont entremêlées dans un passé que nous avons plus ou moins en commun. Elles sont l’Histoire de nos quartiers, de nos rues, de nos immeubles, nos histoires personnelles aussi…
Ces images sont composées de photos prises en ville et assemblées de manière à imaginer ce que pourrait être les racines de nos villes, nos racines citadines.
