Eva Oueiss is a journalist , media and PR consultant . Graduated from NDU in communication arts as the valedictorian of the faculty of humanities with highest distinction . Currently finalizing her MA thesis in Media Studies . Founder of Mediaevita , she is also an alumna of the International Visitor leadership program . Oueiss is a Tedx speaker and an award-winning journalist and reporter . She won the first price at the Facebook Global Digital Challenge , the Marketing Creative Disruption Hakathon among others . She is a certified trainer from DW Akademie and she was a facilitator at the Positive Peace workshop in Tunisia . Oueiss handles the media relations at Beirut Film Society and its affiliated international film festivals and programs . She is the host , content creator and coproducer of radio and online shows notably 7/8 and Shabab online . Oueiss is a media literacy , peace , women and youth empowerment and environmental advocate . She has an extensive experience covering stories and events from the field as well as interviewing key public figures,diplomats and artists among others .
