This project examines the life experience of seven women dealing with chronic pain. It exposes in painterly forms a broader range of existential questions and creates poetic links between identity, experiences, and cultural stigma.

This body of work is an installation that represents the 7 women, while highlightig their painful body parts. It aims to trap particular facts about the human experience, hinting to the shape of an elusive ache as well as flickering bodies kept in a static existence by invisible forces.
The Viewer initially is not encouraged to imagine a story or a narrative that would explain why these prints came to be where.
Moreover, thinking about the corporeality of the ink and the abstraction of the background one is reminded that it is possible to break down the barriers of the body that no longer holds us together, contains us, nor protects us.
