An Independent Alternative Rock Band

Empty Chair is an independent rock band that launched in Jordan back in 2011 by 3 artists. Some founding members have changed, yet until today led by Kamal Shbeir, the vocalist. Empty Chair's Local fame grew rapidly and it started expanding internationally as well through the originally and distinctively composed covers of some top chart hits played in live performances or shared through the youtube channel!As one of the top most requested bands in town, Empty Chair has performed in various outlets and highprofile locations as well as events of famous brands such as: Virgin Mega Store, Harley Davidson, Dubai Music Week Festival along side Xfactor and The Voice Stars, TedX and many more. Empty Chair's major Milestone was winning the Pepsi Bandslam competition in Dubai music week festival challenging other bands from the Middle-East and GCC area. So far through the journey, Empty Chair has been modestly self financed and managed in a poor music market, especially Rock genre. However, the band has released 4 original songs of which two were played all over the radios in Jordan and became a hit on a couple of indie radios in the states and now is close to releasing its first album, hoping to meet the same loved performances of cover songs it presents.
